Beauty steals, and deep thoughts on Lee Press Ons

I needed new facial lotion so I headed over to CVS. Oil of Olay was on sale for $8.99. Revlon polishes were on sale for $3.99 and you got $3 reward bucks for each polish purchased. So, I bought 3 of them for $12, and got my Oil of Olay for FREE with my reward bucks!

Total cost was about $13 for Olay face lotion and 3 polishes. I love deals.

And so, I know this may sound lame. But I love the way the first 2 photos look. Think they are her real nails? I wonder if I can get the same thick nail look with Lee Press Ons. Hmmm. My own nails seem so flat and lifeless.

Revlon Frankly Scarlet (for toesies lest I look like a hoor at work)

Revlon Plum Seduction (for hands - a tad risky but considering I wear all black most of the time, I think I'll be ok)

Revlon Silver Screen (hands - I couldn't find a better picture)

First two photos from mariannaoust on Flickr. I love her nail pictures!

that's an awesome deal. i like the first and last...middle is risky for me, too. although it'd be fun on toes.

I think that particular hand model has just naturally nice nails. I think fake and lee press on nails have a distinct fake look that those don't have. Sorry. Besides, stuff like that is super high upkeep.

Please don't go with Lee press-ons. :/ Otherwise, pretty colors. :)

Just say no to press-ons!

The colors are nice. I think I'd save the middle one for when it gets closer to spring.

Lee Press Ons? Absolutely not. It would look better to just have nicely manicured short nails.

BTW, I think the middle one will look great with your skin color!

Dude, don't do the press-ons! I dig the first and third colors. I don't think I have the guts to pull off the second one though :)

Just found your blog via the nest. I put two coats of undercoat, 1-2 of polish and then two topcoats & my nails usually look thick and nice like that. = )
