It's day 3 of my Get Fit plan amd I'm sore and hungrier than usual. But I did jog with the dogs for 31 minutes and burned 251 calories. Something is better than nothing, right?
If I can stay consistent until May 26, which would be 2 weeks, I know I'm on track to getting back into good shape. If you're in the same boat as far as diet and exercise, let's hear it! It's always nice to know others are doing the same thing.
I'm considering doing the Ladera Ranch 10k on 4th of July and/or the Disneyland Half Marathon on August 30th. Email me at 10yearstogether@gmail.com if you're interested in joining me.
My motto for now is "Something is better than nothing" when it comes to exercise.

amen to that! while my working out schedule has been really consistent for the past couple of months, my eating, on the other hand, has been poopy :/ and i wonder why i can't seem to drop the lbs....
i'm right there with ya D!
I am on a get fit plan too!!!! It is such work to keep it up. You are doing awesome!
I'm doing Weight Watchers, spinning 2-3 times a week and weight training class or pilates at home 2 days a week.
I lost almost 10 pounds, got so excited that I was looking better, and started eating again, but I'm motivated again as of this week.
I am! It was hard to get going but now I'm motivated and it's actually become a habit to get up and walk. My body is used to getting up at the crack of dawn and starting the day off right. You are doing great!
I'm not completely on board yet, but I'm getting there. Being gross is almost out of my system. ;)
Being gross is almost out of my system too (eating goldfish crackers). I applaud your motivation.
You're doing s great job so far!
I'm on a six week mission myself to eat better, snack less and incorporate more cardio into my routine.
I want to run so bad with you...stupid knee. I know you're going to do great!!
I'm down for Disney half =)
Count me in for the Disney half
