Please recommend a book/books
I am a sucker for trash tv and chic lit. Unfortunately, both can get pretty boring. My only thing is that I am not a fan of sci-fi and/or fantasy.
Please feel free to rec some of the best books you've read lately.
PS - I recently assembled some new bookshelves for myself, so my books aren't laying around on the floor anymore. =)

I just read a pretty inspiring book called the Last Lecture. It's a borderline self-help book though.
Ok, it *is* a self-help book. I need all the help I can get.
your wall of books is cracking me up!
they're non-fiction, but i love anthony bourdain's books as well as the chef series by michael ruhlman (making of a chef, soul of a chef, reach of a chef).
I've got no book recs for you, but your stack is impressive.
I just read My Sister's Keeper - it was really good. Marley and Me is cute too if you haven't already read it.
www.paperbackswap.com is a great site to swap books. I've sent and received a couple.
I love all the books on the floor, thats so what my room looked like until MH made me put them away.
We need to have another book GTG, I could bring you a bunch that are sitting in boxed. I do love my trashy romance novels.
I'm jealous of your to read pile.
:-) Have you read Bad Dogs have more fun? It's another book from the author of Marley and Me. It's a compilation of his articles (ironic, heart tugging, etc.) from the Philadelphia Inquirer. I really liked his style and if you aren't able to sit for long time periods to read, it's easy to pick up and put down a lot.
